Construction Progress Continues At The Tosyali Steel Complex In Benghazi
Work continues to move forward at the Tosyali-SULB steel complex in Benghazi. Activity remained strong across the construction site as engineers, technicians, contractors and support teams continued to work on foundations, structural installations and suite infrastructure. Every completed stage brings the project another step closer to becoming one of Libya's most significant industrial developments.
One of the biggest achievements in the project's early construction works was the pile casting, which reached more that 91% completion, while concrete works and backfilling continue to develop steadily. Additionally, the structural steel installation is also progressing, developments can be seen across multiple sections of the site.
Construction teams completed wall casting in the Air Separation Unit and continued foundation works in the Pipe Rack area. Also they worked on preparing concrete for the Main Control Building and the 220kV electrical substation. Meanwhile, installation was continued in the Reformer area and masonry crews are close to finishing up the control rooms, maintenance buildings, substations and administrative facilities.
Projects of this scale come together step-by-step and the progress made over these days shows the dedication of everyone involved. With each finished phase, the Tosyali-SULB steel complex moves closer to becoming an important part of Libya's industrial future and if completed as planned, the project could help support the economic growth and create new employment opportunities in the years ahead.
