Tosyali SULB Meets with Benghazi Labour Officials to Discuss
Representatives from Tosyali SULB recently welcomed Mr. Tariq Haiba Al-Meshiti, Director of the Benghazi Labour and Rehabilitation Office for a meeting focused on workplace health and strengthening cooperation between the company and local labour authorities.
The meeting brought together Mr. Tariq Haiba Al-Meshiti, Director of the Benghazi Labour and Rehabilitation Office and members of the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Department and the Labour Inspection Department. While the discussion focused on occupational health and safety, the broader theme was the importance of creating a working environment where employees feel protected, supported and well prepared for their responsibilities at the work sites.
Safety practices were discussed, perspectives shared, workplace challenges and exchanged ideas on how ongoing cooperation could help maintain high standards across project sites were discussed. One area that has brought a lot of attention was employee training, Tosyali SULB will work closely with the Benghazi Labour and Rehabilitation Office to organize specialized training programs for strengthening safety awareness and professional skills of the employees.
Individuals involved in the discussions hilighted that workplace safety is not only about regulations and procedures, it is also about employees understanding potential risks and hwo to properly avoid them, giving them the right tools and knowledge to ensure they feel confident in carrying out their work safely.
