Technical Committee Travels to Egypt for Meetings on Benghazi Steel Project Power Station

A specialized technical committee assigned by Tosyali SULB has travelled to Egypt this month to take part in a series of meetings related to the future power station planned for the company's steel complex in Benghazi.
The visit follows Resolution №7 of 2026, which was authorized by the Chairman Ahmed Gadalla for the committee to undertake an official working mission to Egypt. The meetings are focused on the development of the power plant that will support the future operations of the steel complex. Representatives from General Electric, Sinosteel and Electrothrot covered technical, implementation and contractual aspects of the project during the meetings.
The purpose of the visit was to review the next steps that need to be taken in order to start the power station development and ensure that all parties remain aligned on the technical requirements and implementation plans. Reliable energy infrastructure is considered an important component on any large industrial complex, particularly one expected to operate on a significant scale.
The discussions that took place in Egypt represent an important part of the project's overall development. As planning continues, the focus remains on ensuring that the necessary technical foundations are in place to support future operations.
