Zulfa Site Development & Construction Update
The factory and hotel are still busy construction sites, but more and more of the work is now happening inside the buildings. Teams are painting, installing tile, running electrical systems, completing plumbing and prepping spaces for equipment and furniture. Attention is starting to focus on the pavements, lighting and landscaping outside.

Inside, painting and tiling is underway. The remaining work includes the exterior walls, HVAC connections, bathrooms and kitchen areas. The finished product area has been cleaned and backfilled and is ready for concrete and the work to come.

Other parts of the factory are busy with different teams at the same time. Warehouses are being cleaned, painted and prepared, the boiler room structure is complete and finishing work is progressing in the chiller room.

One of the more important changes is taking place at the electrical substation. The main switchgear and ring main units are being installed and the cable routes to connect the systems are being prepared. Moreover, teams have completed electrical work, camera systems and internal wiring in the guest rooms.

The restaurant, kitchen, dining areas and cafe are not far behind. Most of the big construction and finishing work is already done, so now the focus is shifting more and more to the equipment, furniture and the final interior details.

Outside lighting is now complete and the pavement and interlock work is nearly finished. The surrounding areas are being levelled and prepared in conjunction with the irrigation network. Once that is done, grass and trees can start going in, putting the landscaping around the hotel in its final stage.

Probably the biggest difference at Zulfa currently is the individual spaces that are starting to have a clear purpose, instead of every space feeling like another construction zone. A room is turning into a completed guest room. The building is ready to be handed over. Equipment that the electrical room will ultimately run is being provided. Outside the hotel, ground is being prepared for landscaping.
