The Buildings Are Up And Zulfa Is Getting Ready For Business

At Zulfa, the focus is shifting from building construction to preparing structures for usage. Teams are currently working on the elements that transform completed buildings into usable areas across the factory and hotel, from internal roadways and electrical connections to kitchens, landscaping, and the systems that will eventually operate in the background.
That shift is visible simultaneously in multiple regions at the factory. HVAC connections have been finished, and tiling is still ongoing in the General Administration Building. Additionally, focus has shifted to the exterior, where decorative features on the front facade are being tested and surfaces are being prepped for painting.
The work is getting more and more practical inside the production areas. Sandwich panels are still being fitted throughout the building, and the sanitary drainage system is almost finished. Prior to the subsequent phases, steelwork and manufacturing floor preparation are also moving forward.
The warehouses are going in a similar direction. Several storage rooms are being cleaned, backfilled, and prepared so that roofing and other finishes can be applied later. In the meantime, the factory's interior roadways are being graded and made ready for paving, establishing the pathways that will eventually coordinate traffic across the building.
The power infrastructure of the factory is another crucial component. Before integrating the internal electrical substation with the larger plant electrical system, the General Electricity Company is still making connections and preparations.
The nature of the work has changed much more dramatically over at the Zulfa hotel. Teams are now focusing on the areas and services that people will actually use once the facility is operating, as the majority of the building has already been completed.
Outside, irrigation systems and landscaping are developing, and green spaces are getting ready for planting. While outside dining areas and exterior decorative elements are being added outside, a significant section of the paving has already been finished.
Additionally, the hotel kitchen is getting closer to being operational. While crews are setting up the connections and areas required for its installation, the procedure of providing the kitchen equipment has started. Before the kitchen is operational, the equipment will be tested after it is installed.
Along with interior gypsum-board work, the conference hall's electrical and audio equipment are being prepared. The equipment that will eventually link the desalination system room to the hotel's primary services is being installed at the same time.
When combined, these minor features are not as significant as the large construction projects that characterized Zulfa's previous phases, but they are nonetheless what enable a facility to be used. Roads must lead someplace, buildings must receive power, kitchens require equipment, and outdoor areas must be completed.
