Zulfa Hotel Is Coming to Life as Work Moves Outside

Work continues in many areas of the project, but the site is beginning to feel very different than an active construction site. More buildings are close to completion, technical systems are being installed and the factory and hotel are slowly becoming one integrated development.
The representatives of the holding company were able to see this progress first hand on a recent visit. The delegation toured the factory and its main facilities after talks with management on the latest developments and future work. The visit was an opportunity for them to see how much had changed from earlier stages with particular recognition given to the amount of work completed and quality being maintained across the site.
The Main Administration Building is undergoing its final painting, insulation and tiling. The central air-conditioning system is being finished and readied for testing. Wall insulation at the Technical Administration Building is finished and teams have moved onto electrical wiring, connections and other building services.
The production and storage areas are also progressing. The floors are being prepared, insulation is being done, sandwich panels are being installed throughout the factory. The main construction work on the cold room has been completed and it is being prepared for the next phase. The boiler room structure has been constructed. Digging has also begun for the main waste water tank for the factory.
With the hotel development, that change is even more apparent. Most of the main work inside is completed or well underway and the focus is increasingly shifting outside to roads, walkways, landscaping, lighting and infrastructure. Technical and electrical systems are already installed in the staff and engineers’ building, rooms have been cleaned and main fixtures are installed.
Other spaces are also beginning to look much more like their finished form. The kitchen has been tiled and the steam-extraction system fitted. Work has continued in the dining halls, sports facilities and storage areas, while the VIP cafe has completed its plaster and facade works.
A further element of the transformation is happening outside the hotel. Green areas and landscaping are being developed together with roads, paving and external lighting. The car park is also well under way and is now receiving its finishing touches. For a long time progress was expressed in terms of building work and individual buildings. You can see it now in the way the whole site is starting to connect.
